Sarah Kreps is an Associate Professor of Government and Adjunct Professor of Law at Cornell University. Her research focuses on issues of international security, particularly questions of conflict and cooperation, alliance politics, the political economy of security, and proliferation. Kreps is the author of three books: Coalitions of Convenience: United States Military Interventions after the Cold War (Oxford University Press, 2011), Drone Warfare (Polity Press, 2014), and Drones: What Everyone Needs to Know (Oxford University Press, 2016), with a fourth forthcoming (Oxford University Press) called Taxing Wars: How Bearing the Financial Costs of War Affects Democratic Accountability. Her research has appeared in top peer-reviewed journals such as the American Political Science Review, Journal of Politics, Journal of Conflict Resolution, and International Security, as well as policy outlets such as Foreign Affairs and Foreign Policy. She has a B.A. from Harvard University, M.Sc. from Oxford University, and PhD from Georgetown University, and previously served in the United States Air Force.
