On October 14, Gen. (Ret) Michael Hayden, former director of the National Security Agency and the Central Intelligence Agency, spoke to West Point cadets and faculty at an event organized by MWI. In his comments, he reflected on his service in uniform and his time as the head of two of America’s intelligence agencies. He also addressed a range of current issues—including cyber-security threats and what to make of a revanchist Russian—and the intelligence community’s role in protecting against emerging security challenges.
Hayden was at West Point for a screening of the documentary Spymasters: CIA in the Crosshairs.
