MWI Speaker Series – David Atkinson and David Schnier: “Security Policy on the South China Sea”

Please join the Modern War Institute and the DS370: Strategy and Policy course on April 23 as we learn about South China Sea policies and the current administration’s use of the National Security Council. We are fortunate to have two Department of State colleagues visit West Point and explain the nuances of their areas of expertise.

David Atkinson currently serves as the Director of Regional Security Policy for East Asia and Pacific Affairs at the Department of State. David recently served as the CT/Rule of Law Political Officer in Manila. David Schnier currently serves with the National Security Council as the Director for Brazil and the Andes. He recently served as the Economic Counselor in Manila
