My Development as an Infantry Leader — Capt. Shaye Haver

Capt. Shaye Lynne Haver was one of the two first women to graduate from the US Army’s Ranger School in August 2015. Capt. Haver graduated from the United States Military Academy in May 2012 and commissioned as an aviation officer. In May 2016, she began the Maneuver Captain’s Career Course at Fort Benning, Georgia and was selected as a voluntary transfer into the infantry. She is currently serving in the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division awaiting an infantry rifle company command.
