In what has become a holiday tradition at MWI, the Urban Warfare Project Podcast turns its attention to an important question: What should military forces have on their holiday wish lists to be best prepared for urban warfare? To do so, host John Spencer is joined as he has been in past years by two urban warfare scholars. Major Jayson Geroux is a Canadian Army officer and urban warfare historian assigned to the Canadian Army Doctrine and Training Centre. And Mr. Stuart Lyle is the urban operations research lead for the UK-based Defence Science and Technology Laboratory.

Together, and based on their extensive combined experience studying urban warfare, they explore the items that are most needed for militaries to achieve success in urban environments. From new scholarship to cheap tactical drones, John and his two guests describe how to close the most pressing gaps in militaries preparedness for urban warfare.
