Earlier this year, we announced the launch of C2P—the Competition in Cyberspace Project—a joint initiative for which the Modern War Institute partnered with the Army Cyber Institute. The project’s purpose facilitate much-needed discussion on a range of cyber-related topics. What does conflict in cyberspace look like? What does strategic competition in cyberspace look like? Equally importantly, are there clear, bright lines that distinguish one from the other?
In this episode of the MWI Podcast, John Amble is joined by two guests from the Army Cyber Institute: Captain Maggie Smith, PhD, director of C2P, and Dr. Erica Lonergan. In a wide-ranging conversation, they tackle subjects including how cyber operations intersect with the other warfighting domains, cyber talent management, and even how a group of private individuals is using cyber capabilities in support of Ukraine’s defense against Russia’s invasion.
